"Visit to Visvesvaraya Industrial and Technological Museum"

Our 6th and 7th standard students embarked on an educational field trip to the Visvesvaraya Industrial and Technological Museum (VITM), Bangalore. This esteemed institution, established in memory of Bharat Ratna Sir M. Visvesvaraya, operates under the National Council of Science Museums (NCSM), Ministry of Culture, Government of India. The museum provided a fascinating journey into the world of science and technology. Students explored exhibits on biotechnology, space technology, the Hall of Electronics, and the Engine Hall, where they learned about engines, circuits, and cutting-edge innovations. These interactive displays sparked curiosity and offered hands-on learning experiences. Additionally, our students attended captivating shows, including the immersive 3D science show and the "Space on a Sphere" presentation. These programs showcased the wonders of space exploration, featuring original images of planets along with detailed information about their features. These activities deepened the students’ understanding of scientific concepts and left them inspired. The trip was both educational and enjoyable, providing our 6th and 7th standard students with a unique opportunity to connect theoretical knowledge with practical applications. It was a memorable experience that encouraged them to further explore the fascinating field of science.

Jubilee English High School Annual Sports Meet 2024-25
The Annual Sports Meet on 9th November 2024, graced by Chief Guest Shri. A C Jayarajan, was a vibrant success. The day began with the Assembly of Houses, Guard of Honour, and speeches from dignitaries. Students showcased their talents in track events and a colorful Flower Drill display. Emerald House claimed the championship, followed by Sapphire House as the first runner-up, with Ruby and Topaz Houses in third and fourth places, respectively. The event concluded with prize distribution and a vote of thanks, celebrating the spirit of sportsmanship and teamwork.

The Annual Junior Sports Day 2024 at Jubilee English High School was a vibrant celebration of sportsmanship, energy, and joy! Our tiny tots from kindergarten and Grade 1 charmed everyone with their Scooby Doo, Gummy Bear, and Crazy Frog drills, while Grade 2 students showcased a spectacular march past. The event was graced by our esteemed Chief Guest, Smt. Tara Bai and Master Garuda Balaji, along with parents and board members. Jubilee English High School organized a Navratri Pooja on the 9th of October, 2024, in the school premises to celebrate the auspicious festival. The event was attended by the Board of Directors, Principal , Vice Principal and the staff, creating a serene and spiritual atmosphere. The Pooja ceremony included traditional rituals and offerings to invoke blessings for prosperity and well-being for the school community. The participation of the school leadership and staff reflected a deep respect for cultural traditions, while also fostering a sense of unity and harmony. The event concluded with a short prayer and distribution of prasad, leaving everyone with a sense of fulfillment and positivity.





JEHS Kiddo Zone organized Family Day on the 5th of October, 2024, with the aim of strengthening the bond between families and the school community. The event provided a platform for parents, children, and staff to interact in a warm and joyful environment. The celebration began with an inaugural session, where the dignitaries lit the ceremonial lamp to mark the occasion. The event was graced by esteemed members of the management, including Shri Muraleedharan Nair, Shri M.P. Vijayan (Vice President, Kerala Samajam Dooravaninagar), Shri Dennis Paul (General Secretary, KSD), Shri Chandran M.K. (Treasurer, KSD), Shri K. Chandrasekara Kurup (Secretary, DKSES), Shri Binoo Sivadas (Joint Secretary, KSD), and Ms. Rashmi C. (Vice Principal, JEHS). Our esteemed guest, Mrs. Smruthi N. Sasi, a Jubilee School alumna and the parent of Ekagratha from VI Standard at Jubilee English High School CBSE, thoroughly enjoyed the day’s activities. Several engaging activities were arranged to make the event interactive and enriching for parents. These included a Vegetable Carving competition, as well as separate games for mothers and fathers. Additionally, an on-stage family dance event added to the excitement. Family Day successfully fostered a strong sense of community and joy among families..

This initiative aimed to encourage Healthy Eating Habits among children and instill in them the wisdom to distinguish between the advantages of nutritious foods and the disadvantages of junk food. The day commenced with an engaging brainstorming session between the teachers and students. The class enthusiastically discussed their favourite healthy foods. Each child proudly brought in their favourite nutritious food, such as fresh fruits, colorful vegetables, whole-grain bread, or healthy nuts, and shared it with the class. All the food items were beautifully arranged and displayed on tables in each classroom. To further enhance awareness, the children were shown an informative video on healthy eating habits. The session highlighted the critical importance of maintaining a balanced diet for overall well-being

The Traffic Awareness program was recently conducted for higher-grade students to promote road safety and responsible behaviour. Aimed at educating young individuals about the critical aspects of traffic norms, the program sought to enhance students' understanding of safe practices while on the road. The program was led by ACP Sri Chaithanya and his team from KR Puram Police Station. They engaged with the students through thought-provoking questions, making the session both interactive and insightful. The program focused on educating students about essential traffic norms and road safety measures. Interactive sessions highlighted the importance of following traffic signals, wearing helmets, and seat belts. The program aimed to instill a sense of discipline and awareness among young drivers and pedestrians. Positive feedback indicated that students found the sessions informative and beneficial.

EHS – A Showcase of Diverse Talent: Unveiling the hidden potential of budding artists... Cultural activities play a crucial role in the holistic development of a child during their formative years. At JEHS, we equally emphasize both scholastic and co-scholastic activities, ensuring the well-rounded development of every child in our care. JEHS is a vibrant hub of budding talents. CCA activities commenced with full vigor and enthusiasm. Drawing competitions and Group Dances for the lower grades, along with Dance and Vegetable Carving for the higher grades, were organized and conducted over the past two months. Strategic planning, unwavering focus, and perseverance have led to these proud moments for JEHS! Our brilliant chess champions secured an outstanding victory in the interschool competition!





The children of Grade 5E acted out a roleplay based on their poem, "The Fox's Wedding," which portrays the fox's wedding and his guests. The poem emphasizes the values of unity and compassion. All the characters performed admirably.





August 23rd marks a significant milestone in India's history as National Space Day. On this day, India's indigenous Chandrayaan-3 mission successfully landed on the Moon, marking a major achievement in the country's space exploration efforts. This day celebrates India's successful foray into space exploration, and educational initiatives across schools nationwide commemorate this anniversary. At JEHS, various activities and programs were organized to raise awareness and foster a passion for space exploration. Events included quizzes, seminars, and drawing competitions, all of which were successfully conducted. Creative Champions: Celebrating Our Talented Winners of the Environment Day Drawing Competition!




Global Champions: Showcasing Our Students' International Sports Achievements" Anika Rajiv of grade IX and Ayush Rajiv of grade V admirably competed for India and secured prestigious medals in the 14th Shulokai International Karate Championship held in Colombo, Sri Lanka.




Ashwanth S of Grade IX proudly represented India in an International Cricket tournament played against Srilanka held in Bangalore.




JEHS Kiddo organized an engaging campus tour for kindergarten kids. It was an exciting and educational experience. The kids enjoyed visiting places like the Principal's cabin, the accounts section, the library, the sports room, and the security gate to meet and greet the security personnel. Indeed, it was an amazing experience for both the kids and the teachers. The tour provided a wonderful opportunity for the children to explore and learn about different areas of their school.

Our students have time and again brought us laurels and pride. Cherlyn Liresh of grade 8B participated in a rifle shooting competition held recently by Best Shot Shooting Academy at Electronic City. She participated in individual and group competitions under 4 different categories - U/14, U/17, B/21 and A/21. Cherlyn demonstrated exceptional skill, concentration and precision to outperform all her competitors in the individual event. She has won a gold medal each in all 4 individual competitions and a silver each in 2 group events. This performance is a testament to her discipline, hardwork and unwavering commitment to excellence in the sport. We are incredibly proud of you for this outstanding achievement!




The classroom should function as a gateway to limitless learning opportunities, encouraging students to probe, think and actively engage with the topic.

An interactive seminar was held on nurturing and fostering a lively classroom environment, stimulating students thinking and probing skills. The resource person Ms. Aparna Anand conducted the session on 23rd May 2024 for the teaching faculty of JEHS from Kindergarten, Grade I and Grade II. The pivotal insights gleaned by our educators from the session encompassed proficient lesson planning, methodologies for sustaining an optimal classroom milieu, and adept questioning techniques aimed at fostering children's inquiry across diverse topics. It also stressed on imperative that a classroom functions as an effective conduit to the realm of learning, wholly embracing and actively engaging with its manifold dimensions.





An awareness session was conducted by Address Health for the teaching faculty of JEHS on 22nd May, 2024 focusing on the importance of physical health and emotional balance among students and teachers. The resource persons Dr. Rajitha Sabarish and Ms. Madhura Bilimogga encouraged the faculty to adopt a holistic approach to health and thereby recognize the interconnect of body and mind for optimum wellness. The session was aimed to provide practical tips and strategies to improve overall well-being, promote healthy lifestyle choices, and enhance emotional resilience.
