The talented young swimmers of JEHS participated and proudly brought laurels to the school. On 19th August 2024, JEHS celebrated Vishwa Samskruta Dinam (World Sanskrit Day) with great enthusiasm. The event aimed to promote the ancient language and to rekindle interest among students in learning and appreciating this classical language which holds a significant place in India's cultural and linguistic heritage. Kindergarten observed No Bag Day... Kindergarten students celebrated Independence Day (Incredible India) with great enthusiasm and patriotism. Children learned about the significance of this special day. The 78th Independence Day was celebrated with immense enthusiasm at JEHS on August 15th. An exhilarating Inter-School Sports Competition was held at Jubilee English High School (JEHS) on August 1st and 2nd. This spectacular event brought together 20 schools from across Bangalore, competing fiercely in Football and Basketball.
In a historic first for JEHS, girls' teams participated in basketball matches, showcasing their incredible talent. The competition was a resounding success, highlighting the athletic prowess of young athletes. Several groups of students from various grades enthusiastically participated in English role-play activities, demonstrating a keen interest in learning and collaboration. These activities fostered a dynamic learning environment in the English classroom. Experiential learning benefits for primary students. At JEHS, the first sports event for kindergarten was held. Our tiny tots were brimming with excitement and enthusiasm. Jubilee Kiddo Zone celebrated Grandparents Day, on July 22nd an event dedicated to honour and cherish our beloved elders. The celebration was a delightful mix of games and fashion show, bringing joy and smiles on the faces of grandparents and their grandchildren... Colouring competition was conducted for kindergarten children.Children participated with great enthusiasm and showed their talent. It helped them in exploring new ideas, creativity as well as a sense of colours.The CCA colouring has been a great success!!!! Turning Trash into Treasures: Grade 5 Students Showcase Exceptional Creativity and Innovation Creative Champions: Celebrating Our Talented Winners of the Environment Day Drawing Competition! Global Champions: Showcasing Our Students' International Sports Achievements" Anika Rajiv of grade IX and Ayush Rajiv of grade V admirably competed for India and secured prestigious medals in the 14th Shulokai International Karate Championship held in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Ashwanth S of Grade IX proudly represented India in an International Cricket tournament played against Srilanka held in Bangalore. JEHS Kiddo organized an engaging campus tour for kindergarten kids. It was an exciting and educational experience. The kids enjoyed visiting places like the Principal's cabin, the accounts section, the library, the sports room, and the security gate to meet and greet the security personnel.
Indeed, it was an amazing experience for both the kids and the teachers. The tour provided a wonderful opportunity for the children to explore and learn about different areas of their school. Jubilee English High School celebrated International Yoga Day on June 21st with great enthusiasm. Students from grades 5 to 10 performed various yoga poses diligently, showcasing their skills. Their impressive demonstrations included a range of different asanas. A kindergarten orientation was held on June 15, 2024. Parents received information about the curriculum, school policies, and ways to support their child's learning. It was a progressive interaction between parents and school authorities which opened a healthy communication to foster the holistic development of students. Our students have time and again brought us laurels and pride. Cherlyn Liresh of grade 8B participated in a rifle shooting competition held recently by Best Shot Shooting Academy at Electronic City. She participated in individual and group competitions under 4 different categories - U/14, U/17, B/21 and A/21.
Cherlyn demonstrated exceptional skill, concentration and precision to outperform all her competitors in the individual event. She has won a gold medal each in all 4 individual competitions and a silver each in 2 group events. This performance is a testament to her discipline, hardwork and unwavering commitment to excellence in the sport. We are incredibly proud of you for this outstanding achievement! The classroom should function as a gateway to limitless learning opportunities, encouraging students to probe, think and actively engage with the topic. An interactive seminar was held on nurturing and fostering a lively classroom environment, stimulating students thinking and probing skills.
The resource person Ms. Aparna Anand conducted the session on 23rd May 2024 for the teaching faculty of JEHS from Kindergarten, Grade I and Grade II.
The pivotal insights gleaned by our educators from the session encompassed proficient lesson planning, methodologies for sustaining an optimal classroom milieu, and adept questioning techniques aimed at fostering children's inquiry across diverse topics. It also stressed on imperative that a classroom functions as an effective conduit to the realm of learning, wholly embracing and actively engaging with its manifold dimensions. An awareness session was conducted by Address Health for the teaching faculty of JEHS on 22nd May, 2024 focusing on the importance of physical health and emotional balance among students and teachers.
The resource persons Dr. Rajitha Sabarish and Ms. Madhura Bilimogga encouraged the faculty to adopt a holistic approach to health and thereby recognize the interconnect of body and mind for optimum wellness.
The session was aimed to provide practical tips and strategies to improve overall well-being, promote healthy lifestyle choices, and enhance emotional resilience.
Jubilee students host and lead the assembly. Jubilee Kiddo Zone-UKG Graduation was conducted at our campus with great pomp and show. The presence of proud parents of UKG made the evening a memorable one. The occasion was graced by Mr. Noor Muhammed C K with his scintillating presence and motivating speech. UKG students were honoured by distributing the mementos to them. Robotics Exhibition conducted at JEHS. As part of Kindergarten activity students of Nursery, LKG and UKG had 'Fruits Salad Day'. Felicitating the taekwondo children who appeared for the exam belt. Inauguration of health library by Address Health. An awareness session on traffic rules and road safety by Traffic warden and team at JEHS. As part of the Capacity Building Program teachers of JEHS attended a Webinar on Stress Management. Honouring the participants and winners of Hindi Olympiad at JEHS. Interschool Tournament conducted by Sharanya Narayani International School, Outstanding performance by Sports Team JEHS. Celebrating the spirit of unity and pride at Jubilee English High School grand 75th Republic Day Celebration. Annual Day Rhapsody 2023-24 was hosted on 20th Jan 2024.
