ASSESSMENTS & EVALUATION
🧒 Kindergarten (Nursery to Grade 1)
- Continuous Assessment: Students are assessed through day-to-day activities, worksheets, and interactive play.
- No Formal Examinations: There are no formal tests or exams at this level.
🧑🏫 Classes upto X
- Assessment Components:
- Unit Tests: Conducted periodically to assess understanding.
- Mid-Term Examinations: Held at the midpoint of the academic year.
- Annual Examinations: Comprehensive assessment at the end of the academic year.
- Promotion Criteria:
- Promotion is based on consistent performance throughout the year, including day-to-day work, unit tests, mid-term, and annual examinations.
- A minimum of 33% marks in each subject is required for promotion.
🔄 Re-Examination Policy
- Absence from Assessments:
- Students who miss a worksheet, test, or examination will not be given a re-examination, irrespective of the reason.
- However, students missing assessments due to participation in school-representing activities will be given due consideration.
- Medical Absence:
- If a student is unwell, they are not permitted to come to school solely to appear for a test or exam.
- In case of illness, a medical certificate is required, and the school will provide alternative arrangements as necessary.
🏆 Promotion Policy
- Holistic Evaluation:
- Promotion to the next class is based on a combination of day-to-day work, unit tests, mid-term, and annual examinations.
- The overall performance throughout the year is considered to ensure a fair and comprehensive assessment.
- Minimum Requirements:
- Students must secure at least 33% marks in each subject to be eligible for promotion.
