YOGA PRACTICE
Integrating yoga into school routines offers many benefits for students’ mental, emotional, and physical health. Some key advantages are:
- Improved concentration, memory and academic performance. Students learn to focus better, which helps in classroom attention and exams.
- Reduced stress and anxiety. Yoga techniques, breathing and mindfulness help students cope with academic pressure, peer issues, exam stress etc.
- Better physical fitness, posture, flexibility. With long hours of sitting / screen time, yoga helps stretch, strengthen, improve posture and reduce risk of injury.
- Emotional regulation, self‑discipline, self‑esteem. Yoga helps students notice & manage emotions, builds self‑control, patience, confidence.
- Better sleep patterns and overall well‑being. The calming effects can help students unwind, get better rest, improve general health.
