At JEHS, our Sports Department is integral to our mission and vision. We believe strong physical education and competitive sport are essential for developing not just students’ bodies, but their minds, hearts, and characters.

We believe that guidance and exposure are as essential as subject learning, helping students align their strengths, interests, and ambitions with opportunities in the world beyond school.

Our Beliefs & Objectives

• Holistic Growth: We see sports as key to cognitive, social, and emotional development. Physical challenges teach focus, resilience, healthy habits, and self‑confidence.
• Excellence & Character: Along with striving to win, we emphasise sportsmanship, cooperation, teamwork, respect, discipline, and the grace to win or lose.
• Integration: The competitive sports programme complements the academic curriculum—extending learning beyond classrooms, building discipline, and enhancing school spirit.

Programmes & Activities

• JEHS provides a nurturing environment across all grades for students to take on both athletic and academic challenges.
• We organise varied indoor and outdoor inter‑house competitions for boys and girls separately. Events include:
  • Track & Field • Kho‑Kho • Kabaddi • Football • Carroms • Chess • Tennikoit • etc.
• Annually, the school hosts the Jubilee Premier League, an inter‑school football tournament for U‑14 and U‑16 boys. Teams from all over Karnataka participate.
