JEHS – SCHOOL ANNUAL REPORT 2025-26

Distinguished guests, esteemed board members, parents, well-wishers, members of samajam, staff, and students,

A warm and cordial welcome to each one of you on the occasion of our Annual Day, Rhapsody Season 7. I am deeply humbled to present before you a comprehensive report on the outstanding activities undertaken by the school during this remarkable academic year.

The new academic year began on 15 th May 2025, with an enriching induction program for our newly appointed teachers. President Shri Muraleedharan Nair addressed them, emphasizing the importance of dedicated educators who can inspire and motivate students. All the board members reaffirmed the rich legacy of Jubilee Institutions and extended their congratulations to the staff for the exemplary Grade X Board results. We had100% result and the school topper was Shriya Muraleedharan with 96.4% followed by Moubini with 94.6%.

I am happy to share  that 30 students bagged distinction and 80% of our students passed with first class.

Our teachers participated in numerous capacity-building programs that equipped them with valuable strategies for effective and impactful teaching.

A specialized workshop was organized  in collaboration with Academy of Creative Teaching for teachers  where the resource person focused on ways to engage and nurture young learners through creative classroom activities. We hosted CBSE Capacity Building Programme on Cyber Safety which was attended by 60 teachers.

We held student council elections in full accordance with established protocols, and the Investiture Ceremony was conducted with great solemnity on 20 th June. Our Scouts and Guides team participated in the enriching five-day Thritiya Sopana Testing Camp during April.

In our ongoing efforts to promote language and culture, we initiated Malayalam classes twice a week after school hours, with over 50 students actively participating.

JEHS hosted the highly anticipated Jubilee Premier League – Season 7, a grand football and basketball tournament in August, with more than 20 schools from across Bangalore taking part. While Sri Ram Global School won the football championship, Vydehi School of Excellence claimed the Boys’ and Girls  basketball .  I am proud to announce that our Basketball  team secured the runner-up trophy.

Independence Day was celebrated with immense patriotic fervor. The Chief Guest, Retd Lt. Colonel Dr. Sonia Cherian, applauded the students of Jubilee Institutions  for their outstanding cultural performances, which beautifully reflected the spirit of patriotism.

Throughout the year, we celebrated a wide array of events, including World Environment Day, International Yoga Day, Junior and Senior Sports Day, Library and Literary Week, Teachers’ Day out, Hindi Diwas,  Kannada Rajyotsava  and Vigilance Awareness Week, to name just a few.

We have partnered with Edusap, an interactive school management system, to promote transparency and foster effective communication among all stakeholders. We are also associated with Address Health, a team of expert doctors and health professionals, who conduct sessions for our students and provide valuable support to our infirmary. They also conduct health checkup for our students. Furthermore, we collaborate with Deccan Herald’s NIE program, where students from grades 3 to 10 receive the NIE newspaper and engage in various competitions. We also ensure top-notch security services by outsourcing to Mankut, a company managed by retired army personnel. To expose children to current affairs and life skills, JEHS has collaborated with Grey Caps, a company initiated by Giri Balasubrahmanyam, a Guiness World Record holder for conducting maximum Quizzes. Our children are provided with Global Awareness Programme and Stepping Stones to improve their GK and Life Skills.

To strengthen the analytical and logical reasoning , we have collaborated with Logiquids where students from UKG to grade 10 get 20 logical and reasoning worksheets to solve which is completely free of cost.

We also organized several motivational sessions for grade X students. IT professional and motivational speaker Ms. Srirekha addressed the students, focusing on the significance of goal setting. To simplify mathematics for students, Mr. Christy Varghese conducted a  session focused on problem-solving strategies for grade X students.

To support holistic development, students participated in various field trips to locations such as Science Gallery, Praani, Picket Fence etc. These trips provided excellent opportunities for students to enhance their teamwork skills.

We also organise various CCA competiitions where children get opportunity to display their talents.

We proudly released our first school magazine ‘Vibrance’ which was a reflection of students’ creativity and reflections.

On 5th July, our music team won first prize in an inter school classical music competition held at Gangotri International School.

On Interschool Competitins held at Garden City University, our School bagged around 10 awards under various categories and was recognised with a special certificate of appreciation for the maximum participation.

Cherlin Liresh of grade 9 B won bronze medal in 13th Karnataka State shooting  Championship.and southzone held at Trichy she selected national team

Harshavardhan of grade 5 won 5th position in the CBSE South Zone Swimmimg Championship, 2025.

.inter school Dayananda Sagar School. He also won various inter school swimmimg competitions.

Madhav.p of grade 8A won the gold medal in interschool chess competation held at Indian academy

and Indo sunshine international school

Mridula K won Gold Medal in Poomsae ( Under 10) and Bronze in Kyongi ( Under 8) in 42nd State Taekwondo Championship.

Vismaya V and Aradhana of grade 2 and 4 bagged the World Record for Bharatnatyam performance titled Nataraja Narthanam.

Around 600 students from JEHS participated in the prestigious Tata Building India Essay Competition held in our school on 24th July 2025.

Adya Sreeraj of grade VIII won two gold medals during the State Taekwondo Championship held at Koramangala Stadium. Khitij R of grade VIII secured 1st position in Swimming in interschool competitions.

Our Football, Volleyball and Badminton Team participated in CBSE Clusters this year.

Surya D participated in Karnataka Junior Basketball Championship and is also participating in mini Olympics.

Our children won around 30 medals in various interschool competitons held at Elixr school and Slok International School. Aradhya Prageesh won gold medal in Badminton Championship.

In the CBSE Skill Expo held at Sakthi International School, Mangalore, our students Aadya and Shreshta Nair  won second prize in Karnataka State. They will be participating in the National Level in the month of January. Our school project got selected for the CBSE Regional Science Exhibition which wil be held on 24th November 2025. This is again a testimony that we are at par with the so called branded schools.

At JEHS, we remain committed to providing a comprehensive, forward-thinking education. Students enjoy competitive athletics, instrumental music, dance, arts, robotics, and digital sciences. After-school conceptual classes in Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology for grades 6 to 9 further enhance students’ readiness for competitive exams.

As a reflection of our commitment to holistic education, JEHS was honoured with the prestigious Tech Enabled Infrastructure Award at the IKA 2024 event, organized by Eldrok India, a leading educational research organization, at the EBISU Convention Centre,  on 11 th September 2025.

We are also thrilled to announce that we received the Dynamic School Award by Education Today, during the eduleaders conference held at Raddison Blu , Mysore  on 14th October 2025.

I am extremely proud that our faculty Ms. Vakita Banu got qualified and selected as CBSE Resource person.

CBSE recognises the contribution of our teachers during the Bangalore Sahodaya Guru Samman Awards every year. I am extremely happy to share that our School Secretary Mr. Chandrasekhara Kurup received ‘The School Crusader Award’ , our Accountant Mr. Vinod received ‘The Operation Star’ Award and our KG faculty Ms. Ramya Rao received ‘The inclusion teacher Award’. It is indeed a testimony to our pursuit of excellence.

I express my gratitude to the unwavering support of our board members who are undoubtedly our steering force. Their generosity in meeting our school needs is highly appreciated. Sirs, we are committed to do our utmost in imparting quality education to our children. I place on record my profound thanks to all office bearers of the samajam for their commitment and support.

I would also like to take this opportunity to extend my sincere gratitude to the Principals and staff of our sister institutions, Jubilee School and Jubilee College, for their seamless cooperation throughout this academic year.

The JEHS community is deeply thankful to our parent body for their unwavering support and encouragement. Your valuable feedback motivates us to reach greater heights, and we assure you of our continued commitment to excellence in all our endeavors.

I dedicate all the achievements of JEHS to my dedicated staff who continue to motivate our students to excel. They deserve a big round of applause.

Looking ahead, we have many exciting and progressive plans for the upcoming academic year. I feel truly fortunate to be a part of this capable and dedicated team, one that I believe has the potential to make a significant difference.
